Welcome to The Saxon website. The Saxon is a family run pub which offers a range of Lagers and Cask Ales, we also do Alcopops along with an extensive range of Liquers and Spirits. Along with the drinks, we also offer a great range of food at very reasonable prices. We pride ourselves in our hospitality and welcome everyone with a warm smile.
As you can see there are a few links at the top of the page, please feel free to have a look around. We will be happy to answer any questions that you may have. We also do private functions for any occassion, unfortunately due to licencing laws we cannot accommodate anyone under the age of 18 years old after 9pm.
We offer a variety of activities many of which you will find on the Whats-on page, also the Events page will be where we put special events, like a Charity Race night (which we have just had), as well as many other up and coming events, so please keep checking back.
As well as a Juke Box we also have Sky Sports T.V. and a couple of touch screen Bandits. There are 2 bar areas, one is the main bar whilst the other side offers a relaxing place to sit and eat meals, we also have an enclosed beer garden with bench tables, there are 2 other bench tables located at the front of the pub. There is a large car park so parking would not be a problem, coaches are welcome aswell.
